well... when i got home i went to check if the battery dead, and it wasn't. But this time, the alternator was not charging, when i shut it off last night, it was charging higer then i wanted but was chargeing.. I cycled the key a few times seeing if it would turn on and it did not. While running, i went and played with the connectors and that didnt work either. So i shut it off, pulled the battery terminals off, and put them together to reset computer and to get rid of any voltage in system. I reconnected to the battery, and started the jeep back up, and voltage came back tested the voltage at terminals while running, voltage was 14.98v to 15.21. I did that three times again, 1 out of 3 was a no charge. so at this point its either alternator starting to go out or voltage regulator is bad. sucks cause alternator is only about 6 months old.

Sad to say but if the voltage regulator wasn't wired right in the first place (which we have determined was the case) then it could have damaged the alternator. Should be nothing to have it checked at Napa or O'Reilly's, if that tests good then you at least have that peace of mind.
