Need ideas , pin stuck in d35
Was just trying to remove rear shafts and the pin was tight after removing bolt . I went to give it a little tap and pushed it too far in blocking it from rotating the spiders to remove it . Any thoughts?

mmmm.. If pin is stuck, the c clips are still in there. If the c clips are still in there the shafts are still in there... if the shafts are still in there, the carrier is stuck in there... Its ok, the carrier should come loose enough to allow you to wiggle that pine back in and out

^^was about to say the same.
Can you rotate the carrier at all to get a finger behind the pin bringing it towards you, then rotate the rest of the way and pull the pin outwards.

Looks like the pinion pin is jammed into/between the housing & pinion gear, magnet won't get that back. I assume the OP already tried to coax it back with fingers, and what not. Pulling the caps to get some wiggle room is the only choice. Unless he had Dr. Hook, also known as a cotter pin puller, to grab on to the retainer pin hole & drag it back.

ended up needing a buddy , both for sanity and just moving stuff around . pulled the caps , but just for space to work as it was mentioned you can;t pulls the shafts with the pin still in partially. The cause of the tight fit is the G2 shafts, they don't slide in as smooth as the OEM ones. thanks guys
