Default Need help with starting issue 98 xj 4.0 2wd
Will not turn over replaced battery. Swaped starters off my other jeep checked all grounds getting power to starter and starter solenoid when turn igntion but nothing doesn't click or anything.

Terminal ends? Replacement battery new?

New battery cables and battery with most cranking amps. And connections cleaned.

Cleaned nss switch now I have backup lights still no start

Does the starter crank if you short the two large terminals on the solenoid with a screwdriver? (in PARK, chock the wheels)
