i used to run those on my trac bars until about a month ago when i made my own trac bar mounts and put heims at both ends. heims have no give and help with death wobble where the poly still gives a little. the rubber is a bit quieter though.

I have the smaller of rustys adj track bars, I have the factory style bushing on the axle side, and a TRE on the frame side. It installs exactly like the stock one, except I adjust it to center the axle.
I dont think I would call it "beef" but it is certainly as heavy as the stock one. For someone like me who has a 3" lift, it allows me to center the axle, and if the TRE or the busing wears out I can replace the at autozone. If I was building a hardcore rock rig then I am sure I would need something heavier. Weekend wheelers shouldnt have any issues with the rustys bar.
Isnt a TRE a heim joint??
Did we answer the OP's origional question??

I use my "fork looking thing" all the time. The fork + a hammer is extremly motivating. Its good tool to have around
I just used it the other day building a shelving unit for my kids play room.
