Need Help Please. 96 4.0 into 91 . Bought 96 long block and installed into my 91 xj
Followed the directions for dropping the distributor but am unable to get it to fire up. If I set the crank at approximately 30deg advanced and then drop it. The engine will start but does not run properly. Hunts for idle and lack of excelleration under load.. Throttle snap in crisp though when in park. Please help me out.
