Default need help please!

i have a 2000 xj. and today she won't start. she cranks but won't catch. ran fine yesterday. i have noticed that it has been cranking over longer and longer to start up. all the gauges work to my knowledge so i dont think it is the cps. but i have an extra i may throw on to check. it has a new fuel pump and is getting fuel. going to check the the coil packs and change the plugs. open to any suggestions.

Check your fuel pressure and look into a new crank sensor. Those can go out suddenly.

Your gauges working has nothing to do with your cps working or not. If you say you have an extra one I would change it out or at least keep it in the Jeep just in case it fails.

Check for spark. If no spark there is an 85% chance its ur cps.
