Ok so I'm having the typical issue with my DOOR LOCKS. From the Passenger side I can unlock and lock doors (All of them) just fine. On the DRIVERS side I can only LOCK but NOT UNLOCK. I just bought this JEEP so I have no idea of its past history aside from CarFAX shows.

Anyways, I was installing my component Speakers and upon removing the Passenger Door Panel I noticed the below Wires CUT and Taped Off. I tried searching for wiring schematics but couldn't located any for my 2000 XJ Sports. Seep Pic Below:

Do you think these wires are whats causing my Drivers side LOCK SWITCH to not function for UNLOCKING? I'm afraid to connect them back together not knowing exactly what they do.

According to Haynes manual they're lock and unlock control from overhead which would be for keyless entry.

Hmm. The Dealer didn't have the Keyless Entry Fobs. I wonder if they cut the wires because of that. I'm going to try connecting them later see what happens LOL.
