My mother-in-law gave me her 99 cherokee classic for christmas. i love the power, but the thing is booone stock. well that needs to change...
need some ideas on how to fit 31s or 32s and stick them out of the fenders a bit. And get rid of the damn body roll. on the cheap. and maybe some minor performance upgrades. i do appreciate all inputs.

dude i know. i had told her a few years back that i would buy it from her. when i was stationed in MD my wife came down there with her parents to visit and i got to drive the jeep and i loved it. She surprised me the christmas day. the truck is in showroom condition. still smells new. there's one dent on the door the size of lincolns head on the penny. can't even see it. the valvecover leaks a bit. but boooy it can roll... you stump that thing and the needle jumps to 50 in a heartbeat. i appreciate the input.

soft 8s are a wheel made by cragar there cheap and look sweet! as for the body roll.... try not to put it into the corners so hard and it wont have as much body roll... its a cherokee not a civic. the only sway bar upgrade that should be done to a cherokee is disconnecting before you hit the trail haha

dude it's not just the corners. i drive down a back road going about 50 and it feels like i'm about to lose it. any minor bump or pothole makes me feel like i'm in a boat. my main vehicle is a 04 dakota with 32s and i can drive it down the same roads at 75 and it handles rock solid.

removed both front and rear sway bars on mine. makes it a lot more flexible ya know. you could try the shocks just to improve the ride. i dont think shocks will stop the roll though.

i used to have an 02 dakota so i know what ya mean they are solid! but your just gunna have to get used to it cuz even if you do fix the body roll its gunna get worse once you put any lift or tires and get the COG up there

if you plan to drive it on the street, i would advise leaving the sway bars on. it will make the roll 10 times worse without the bars.

don't you think driving without sway bars will make it more unstable at highway speeds?
