Default Need help with fuel lines

I'm new to the jeep world as I've bought myself an '88 XJ with 240k on the clock because I need 4-wheel for hunting. Feel like I did pretty good, as the truck was in decent condition, and I only paid $800.

It had one real problem when I bought it: needed a head gasket. $50 and a few hours of labor later, she was running just fine except for one thing...

I must have goofed up attaching the fuel lines to the rails because now I have a gas leak from the front fuel line going into the rail.

As best I can tell, I need one of these:

Or maybe it's one of these:

Any help would be appreciated!

I've got the gut feeling that my problem is that I'm missing the spacer.

Would it be safe to say that the front (I'm assuming supply) fuel line requires a 5/16" kit?

Measure the metal lines to get the dimension.
