Default need help

i have a 96 cherokee and my dash lights, brake lights, turn signals or hazards arent working but my headlights work. i checked all the fuses 3 times, brake button on the pedal and the groungs on the lights. i have just tail lights and dash lights if i hard wire the dash lights up to the headlight switch but nothing else. that is how it is right now.

Have you checked all you'll relays and fuses under the hood?

I was having close to the same problem with my Jeep I had to re ground my battery, and just cleaned the terminals. It looked a little corroded and it ended up stopping a bunch of electronic problems i was having.

i will check the battery ground when i go to my shop today.

why? you posted this issue over a month ago and you still have not figured it out. take it to a shop and be done with it. its ok to ask for help from a shop.... its probably something very simple and they can figure it out in less then 30min.

multifunction switch? headlights are the only one that doesnt go through it all the others do. check for power going in and out of it.
