The whole axle?

Why don't you just disconnect everything attached to the axle?

I'd say start with the tires lol

if all you want to do is take the axle then, unbolt the tie rod, drag link, sway bar ends, track bar, lower spring retainers, shock bolts, brake calipers, front drive shaft at the front u-joint, upper and lower control arms and if you have electronic locking hubs you will have to disconnect the wires to that, knock on the oil pan 3 times, drop the jack holding up the axle and say oops to fast and it should just come right out after that. oh yeah make sure the vehicle is supported by jack stands and I do mean the vehicle not the front axle or any suspension component.
