Need all help.

As many know i have a 98 cherokee classic, well my sister crashed the front yesterday but thats not the point. The point is that when I do drive it around 10 to 25mph my rpm's are up in the top 2,000s and mid 3,000. When I go faster it goes back down to around 1,000. What can be causing this and is it normal, I havent noticed it before.

Also when at a stop light or sign the engine is reveing louder then normal and when I press on the gas pedel the jeep is slow to start why is that?

How bad was the crash to the front? The rpms issue does not sound normal.

side damage body dents in and front bumper damage nothing like horrible but im more worried bout the rpms and the slow start like transmission is slipping.

Sounds like you have a MAJOR vacuum leak to start with. Check over the engine bay for any lines that may have been knocked off...or for other damage that may have occured in the accident.

Ok will do but thats only the start of the problems of that jeep. Im in major need of getting her alligned. I hold the steering wheel 5 inches to the left just to keep her straight, also i looked at my back axle. 8.25 and where the plug is in the middle of it i noticed it was leaking a little.
