Question Mysterious Clunking?

I did some searching on this and came up with nothing. I get this clunking noise in my front end, towards the passenger's side I think, when I am off-roading, under throttle, and the front is taking bumps (just to specify, not just little bumps but like crossing ruts or other "bumps" that rock the whole vehicle). It happens in 4 and 2 wheel drive. Totally silent in 2 and 4 wheel on the road. If it matters, I have a 4.5 inch lift.

Check you UCA bushings on the axle. My sons is clunking when he puts it into gear, and I realized the UCA bushing on the axle are shot.

I considered that, but you can feel the clunk; feels like more that just some jostling.

Put your Jeep up on stands and start wiggling the front end. You'll find what's loose pretty quickly that way

Trackbar? Just another possibility

Relocated (hombrew)- the hole could be over sized and the bolt could be shifting.

Reloacted bracket-check bushings

Adjustable-most likely isn't ur cause.

It really could be anything from that description. Check all bushings first.
Could be tierod slack
LCA bushings
UCA bushings
Drag link slipping
Pitman arm- if not dropped

There are many possibilities.
