Default My Wheel Size?

I have a used Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 (2006) and I am trying to figure out what size my wheels are so I can replace them without having to buy new tires or lift my jeep. I measured them and they seem to be 18.5 inches wide but when I looked online it kept showing up as 17x7 as standard factory size.

Anyone know what size they really are? I don't even know that I'm measuring the right part of the wheel honestly

Thanks

PS - Any suggestions for wheels, a brush guard, or roof light racks would be greatly appreciated.

Look on the side of the tire...the tire size includes the wheel size. Something like this 235/75R17. The bolded and underlined section is what your wheel size will be.

The 17x7 measurement you found online is probably the correct one also.

I'd go 17x8 if I were you. Unless you plan on going with a tire that is more than 12.5" wide down the road in which case get the 17x10's

Here's some info for you. Scroll down and look, 18" 's were optional, and the SRT8's had 20"s. http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_wheels.htm
