my oil meter on my instrument cluster bounces randomly
I just recently replaced my instrument cluster from one that just had dummy lights to one that had meters on it. i got it from the local pull apart(junk yard). well my oil meter needle will randomly bounce from 0 to full to 20 to 80 to 40. I notice this usually happens when i put strain on the motor or going up a hill. my battery meter also stays right in the middle also. I was wondering if there was any additional wiring i needed to do or if i should just go get a new cluster.
