first thing is to check for codes

Do yourself a favor and have the battery checked.

Sounds weird I know, but mine turned over strong, just wouldnt start until I pumped the gas. Then when it started, it would die unless I kept revving the engine. Replaced battery and all was perfect in the world.

funny enough that was the problem i changed out the battery and it started right up it was doing exactly what you were saying it just wouldnt start till you pumped the gas or floored it kinda like it was flooded but it wasnt

Cool. Because battery problems can look like so many other issues, its always the first thing I check. Glad you got it fixed.

If your head lights dim when turning over, battery problem. if they don't, starter problem. enough said
