Bad relay? Short in wiring? Those would be the first thoughts

check your battery terminals... make sure they are not shorting out on the inside of your hood... (look at the underside of your hood where the battery would sit....

My Cherokee did this, mine was a rare problem but it was getting bad. Long story short: After replacing a lot of un-needed stuff, The 60amp wire going into the fuse block was sooooo coroded that it had come out of its connection to where it was just sitting in there so any request for more power(turn signals, headlights, etc...) the jeep would shut off and come back on. The main hot wire was not the only one that was fubar'd so I got another harness from a salvage yard and spliced it in(only 75 wires!) and packed the whole connection with silicone so no water could get in again...you might look there if you don't find it, only 2 bolts hold it in place and just pull it up and check each connection.

I had this problem when i replaced my head. There is a main ground on the back stud if thats loose and loses contact it will shut down then when makes contact come back on all in the matter of 3 secs. well that was what it was for me. Hope this helps.

Mine does it also, sometimes runs great and sometimes just dies, but I noticed that it dies most after a fast left tun about 1/4 mile from the turn, Right now I'm thinking fuel pump, but I wont just swap out parts I need to actually find the problem so I may do some wire checking this week sometime

Yeah, Im thinking the fuel pump too. After more research with this, I dont think its electrical because not everything it shutting down including my radio and lights. Havent checked my filter or cleaned the throttle body yet. Maybe that would help.

Thanks for all the help here!
