Post My Iron Rock Off Road (IRO) 4" XJ Lift Kit Review

Hey guys, I took the plunge!!

Just ordered the following from Iron Rock Off Road, Inc. For my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport with 4.0l, NP242-J TC, Chrysler 8.25 Rear, Automatic, 4x4. I have been researching lift kits for the last few months and finally boiled it all down to this kit being right for me.

In this thread I will make an amateur attempt at reviewing for you, my personal experience with dealing with Iron Rock Offroad Inc. And my experience with their equipment. I will be 100% honest in everything I type here. So this could either turn into a great experience with everything going as smooth as possible and I could be happy as all heck....Or this could turn into a nightmare thread with me venting and cursing and banging my head against the wall in disgust.

Either way, you guys get to come along for the ride.

So for now, my initial experience with ordering the kit has been favorable. Every person I have talked to has been extremely polite and eager to assist me. Their communications up to the point of order have been extremely good. The sales rep I have is Josh Ruppert. He seems like a very knowledgeable and professional fellow so far. I had sent out quote requests and inquiries to multiple companies, Josh is the only one who took the time to return my emails and help me decide what I should purchase. He responds to emails very promptly and professionally.

I have also dealt with Holly Stier who is the office manager of IRO, she also knows her stuff about 4x4 lift kits. She was very polite and professional to deal with.

** Lots of pictures and updates to come.

Due to a private issue. I had to pull out of this deal. I ended up going with a Rubicon Express kit instead.
