Sounds a little ricey if you want the truth. No one answered for a long while b/c really didn't want to tell you but my Miata sounds better than that and it is real ricey.

It would sound better if you put in a resonator or put the cat on it again. It would sound deeper and make more of a tone than just loud. Not too bad though.

as for the Miata! I can't belive someone with an xj would own something so ghhheeeeyyy!

I think it sounds alright, however I agree with 99xjlove you should put the cat back on.

I figured some people wouldn't like it. But thats the way it goes I guess. Truthfully, my exhaust was rusted to ****, thats why it had to come off, and the cat was rattling like crazy. The camera was right under the turn down in that vid too BTW, so it makes some difference when your not right underneath the exhaust, haha. Personally I love the way it sounds. My friend thought it was a diesel when I pulled into his driveway for the first time, haha.

Ever drive a Miata? They drive and handle like a Vette. They are fast, nimble and dare I say "fun" to drive. My wife drives it 90% of the time but I bought it as my midlife crisis car. And I still enjoy driving it. The Rollbar and front crossover stabilizer helped with the handling and the Pirellis also contributed. Wish I could afford the Jackson Racing Supercharger. Not Gay at all.
