Default my AW 4 speed.....

My 1991 xj has a wierd tranny leak my lines are dry my seals are too! There is a tube (not the dipstick) that is floating around near the diptube? please help

it's kinda hard to tell through the intraweb, but it could be a vac line.
does your 4wd work? or do you have a posi-loc cable? or even a disconnect front axle?
mine's was just hangin there too, till i cut them off.

sounds like the breather tube that bolts on up near the top. Is it a short bent metal piece connected to a rubber hose?
