My 89 Starts oddly..

Ok I've been trying to figure this out and figure I'll ask.. My 89' XJ with the 4.0L starts real oddly. It turns over fine starts than stalls than hit the key a second time and it fires right up and runs fine.

I'm at a loss on this one.. Being a Renix motor I'm a little on the not sure side of things yet..

Not 100% but sounds like CPS, like everyone says with starting problems. Is it just shutting off once it fires?

Ya the first starts than shuts right down, after that fires right up..

I've had CPS probs in other Jeeps in the past and this is just a bit different, but could be..
