muffler question
 

hey guys i just bought the cherry bomb glass pack muffler and it was the same size as the piping on the stock muffler(2 1/4). i bought some adapting piping to make it fit but then realized that is was just too long and that i would have to cut more pipe. my question is if i should just get the bigger muffler(2 1/2) or if i should just cut the pipe and weld it together. i really need your help on this guys because right now im running on an open header so i appreciate your help lol

Cut the pipe and weld it together.
