Default MPG shot after rad change

changed my thermostat, 3row radiator, all hoses and now my MPG went from 16 to about 10? wtf? its runnnig at about 190 consistantly.

ideas?

I've heard that if the Cherokee isn't running at 200-210* gas mileage can suffer. Engine is designed to run at these temps. Going cooler may be casuing the computer to dump more fuel.

The new thermostat may be in backwards, or could of been bad in the first place, leaving it stuck open. I think that would be your best bet, did you put a 195 in it?

Runnin at 190* wouldn't cause a drop in mpg. You sure you didn't accidently bump something loose? Disconnect something on accident?

well i did notice that wires to o2 sensor were fried...so i butt spliced 'em....

Light bulb. Might want to check your work, if the upstream o2 is not working then your MPG will suffer.
