Default Moving axle forward

So Im looking to move my axle a few inches forward for somer extra clearance of the 35s. How far can I move it forward with just some adjustable LCA's?

I will probably pick up a set from Ironman4x4.

Ok.. Cant shell out for long arms yet..

Im bumpstopped, and trimmed with 35s on 4.5"s..just rub on the back of the bushwackers. I wouldn't rub if I didnt have to have flares but I do, and the tires like to grab onto the flares.

Im not looking to decrease my ground clearance.

All I would like is to push the axle forward an inch or two untill I can get long arms.

tip #1) you need to wait more than 2 hours for a reply
tip #2) drop brackets are a good idea for what you want to do

tip #1 Read the OP
tip #2 I did not ask for what parts I need, just looking for approximately how far a set of lca's will get me.

You can delete this thread. It isn't going anywhere

nah. nothing wrong with this thread. just people trying to help you out. you could probably get by with just drop brackets and keep your existing arms. not only will it push your axle forward, you will have a better ride and performance.

I have considered it I just tend to have clearance issues with the stock control arm location, and If I get drop brackets I would need to get control arms as well, with them being so exposed.

So in the end, I wouldn't be to far off of long arms.

For now I plan to use some JK rear uppers, some ironman lowers or shorten a set I have laying around, just wondering how far this will get my axle forward. I probably only need an inch.

Any more than 2" and your steering will bind.
