Nice, Boondock saints!

eh, I wouldnt. those arent the most sturdy supports and I think with some vertical mounted lights you may get alot of movement that would make it look really bad to you and others when driving, plus it they were t get hit my a branch, I think they would take out lights and roof rack rail

do you have any simple fab skills or access to tools? It would be pretty easy to fabricate a heavier guage metal cross member that would support lights better and leave roof rack rails open to utility

If you are picky like me, the bouncing the lights do will drive you crazy. If you fab a mount that would work best. Or do this...

The blazers are decent lights. I have them mounted on the front bumper.

Speedy car parts.com has Carr light bars for just over $100.00 thats what I have and they hold up to 5 lights. Simple install. Sturdy and good looking.

Check out this thread: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/jus...oof-rack-7112/
The guy did a great job mounting the lights on his roof racks.

I wanted to do the same thing, but I can't seem to figure out how to move the rack forward. Stupid question, but is there some special way to slide the rack forward?

I think there is a button you press. I ripped mine off from slamming into too many trees.

Yea, my buttons don't press too much, haha. I'll make it happen though. I never slammed into trees with my Jeep yet. A few Walmart shopping carts though. I also somehow caught a washing machine behind the door when I was muddin, dragged it a couple hundred feet, and then realized it tore a huge hole in my body.

Spray the buttons with some WD-40 (Don't use PB Blaster as it might muck up ur paint).....

Here you go. Yep as Troth said hahaha. I would mount them on something more stable. I'm going to, but it work for now.

Went out and got a third for $5 at the junkyard.

I put the same lights on my roof rack 8 months ago and no complaints.
