Default motors almost out

ive just about got the old motor out. whats the easiest way to get rid of all that grime oil and grease build up in the engine bay so i can hit it with some undercoating??? i was thinkin a pressure washer and a whole bunch of degreaser but im scared the water might mess up alot of the electrical stuff
