motor mount bolts sheard off!!!
so the dreaded failure of the motor mount bolts has reared its ugly head on me ....
i have read all about it and how to fix this....now my issue is how to get it to a buddies shop to fix it.....
is there someone whom has figured a temporary fix to get to a shop? or is this only a job tor a tow truck?
a relative sugested chaining the block to the frame side of the motor mount using some of the open bosses as an atatchment point....he tolt me he has seen this used as even a perminant fix on modded camaros. anyone else hears of this or is he blowing smoke up my a$$ to try to be the hero?

The left side will lift when you gas it, push down when you decelerate. (looking forwards)
The rubber is shot on my left and tranny mount and the fan hasn't hit the radiator....yet!

sooooo......did not want to cough up the cash for a tow to take the short trip cause I'm a cheep a$$.....so I bought 2400lb strength chain and links, jacked the engine and ran it from the motor mount bracket on the frame under the engine to the opposite bracket. popped some wood under the chain to prevent digging. worked perfectly would never even know one mount was gone entirely unless ya popped the hood to look!
got the broken bolts out fairly easy 2/3 spun out with an easy out third I ended up drilling out the hole and re-threading it.
post pictures of the culprits later
