Misfire
Newbie here with a 98 showing code 0301 which is #1 cylinder misfire. So far I have put on plugs, wires, cap, rotor.Replaced #1 injector. At one point it will run great for a week then the light will kick on and the misfire is there for a few days then misterously goes away.Usually starts missing right after i hammer on it pretty good 4-5,000 rpms. This is the only item I still need to address yet I have only owned this for about 4 months and is starting to really annoy me so any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Fuel injectors can cause a misfire.
Since your plug looks dry, I would be looking at the fuel system which includes the injector itself. Swap the injector into another position and see if the MIL code changes.
