Okay, so encountered a problem a few days ago. Checked my trans fluid and it was bone dry, topped it off and it was good. Then I checked it again today and it's bone dry... Again. Checked under to see if I could spot the leak but the underbody is coated with God knows what. Any suggestions to try and resolve this?

That's a pretty massive leak. Looks like it may be coming out the vent at the top there.

That's weird.

Worst thing you can do is to drive it while it's low on fluid. Keep some in the vehicle and check it OFTEN.

As for fixing it, I have no clue. You may be looking at major trans work, or a replacement.

if it came down to it and I did have to get a replacement, is it possible I could put a stick in it? Or would I have to stay with auto? Because I really want a stick because it's just a preference thing.

No problem if you want to do the work. Lots of people have swapped out an auto for a stick. Search the forums and you'll find plenty of info.

Is your transfer case overfilled? The rear tranny seal could be leaking and pushing the fluid into the transfer case

Hey bb.
Clean the entire area throughly ,then check after driving for a short time to determine where the leak is comming from. That is your first step.
As Mark said, don't drive it with the fluid low.
