had a strip screw probablem on passanger side front marker light. i had a fix for it thought id share. i drilled out the hole more and added a wall anchor to it it seems to be holding and was able to reuse the stock screw.

 

Mine did the same. I cut a small piece of hard plastic just the right size to wedge back behind where the screw was supposed to attach, then drilled a small pilot hole in the piece of plastic, and screwed the screw back in place through the new plastic piece. It's stayed in place for a year now!

 

All I did was put a slightly larger screw!

 

tried that just stripped it bigger
