Default manual windows blues

my windows were leaking at the seals. so I found new ones and they are sooo much tighter. but now my gears in my manual window are grinding if I don't pull as I roll. nobody sells a 2dr maual regulator so I was wondering if anyone new a fix for the gears or a replacement. its getting warmer in Colorado and I don't have a/c! any help would be nice

Have you sprayed the new rubbers with silicone spray?

The window has been lubed. slides down pretty smooth. but its the coming up that's a struggle. if I pull as I wind, no troubles. I noticed if I don't pull, the window gets tweeked in the track. then the gears in the regulator start grinding and the window stops going up.

See if you can adjust the window channels inside the door a little more apart.

Are you sure its the gear ? When I dug into mine it was the spiral cable rusted out and falling apart. I ended up reversing the cable, top 3/4 of cable was good. Pretty simple once you have the cable out, let me know if you need to go that route I have a diagram somewhere.

Oswalla I could really use the diagram you mentioned. My window has been a pain for some time.

I just found the diagram on another of your posts. Good stuff man!
