Manual window regulator
My rear passenger window won't roll up on my 1997 Cherokee SE. I took the crank off to see if it was busted and that's not the case. I opened up the panel and it seems something isn't catching. Anyone have any experience or knowledge to share in regards to this particular repair?

Sounds like it is possibly be the spiral cable that the crank gear turns. I have a post somewhere here on reversing the cable end to the good portion of the cable. The gear only makes contact with half the length of the cable so likely the other half is still good. Might be able to find the parts online, don't know, this is just what I did since I had it all out anyways.
I tried to copy n paste but didn't work so here is the link, post #2.

My 98 has manual windows and I've had to replace both rear regulators.
I got mine from a junkyard and they installed w/ no problem.
Here is a handy junkyard search. http://www.car-part.com/
