lower control arms?

lower control arms?
Are new LCA's really all that necessary for a 3" lift? I see the series II RC kit costs about $100 more with new LCA and sway bar brackets. I don't want to spend the extra $$$ if not necessary. I'd rather get a new ADJ. track bar instead. Thanks for any info
