Lower control arm removal?

Why is it that when I replaced my lower control arms the front bolts on both sides where it mounts to the axle I could pull out by hand, but the bolts that connect to the body I had to hammer, cut, torch and air hammer on for an hour to get out? Is the factory sleeve in the rear control made of a different metal then the front that causes it to rust together more?

It's a steel bushing with a steel bolt. Sometimes the bolt seizes to the bushing. Some just get lucky with it not.

Thats what I thought it just seems weird that the front ones came out so easily on both sides compared to the rear bolts.

Mine were similar. Just did them.

I'm sure the rear most bolts are exposed to more moisture (and salt if your area uses it) over-all. They are in the splash path of the tires. While the front ones are not as much.
