Default Lower Control Arm Orientation??....

I finished installing my LCA's and discovered that the ones I removed were oriented differently. Is there a correct orientation or it doesn't matter?.....

One side of the bushing is much larger than the opposing side. I thought I would orient them the same way the old ones came out but they were oriented differently. When I installed the new ones, I placed the larger side of the bushings on the inside on both. I was curious if this is correct or that it doesn't matter.....

Thanks! I took a WAG and did in fact put them on the inside. Glad I don't have to flip them around.....

I've been chasing some weird noises and an unusual vibration. At 170,000 miles, I figured that it would be a good place to start. The LCA's bushings looked questionable. After removing them, I realized how bad they were. The bushings showed some cracking and were very spongy. The new LCA's made a huge difference in the ride.

I also changed the track bar and that really tightened things up. Some of the mystery noises are gone and more driving will tell me more.....
