Default Lower Control Arm hardware ???........

I'm going to replace my lower control arms with stock replacements. I have new 9/16 G8 bolts & nuts. Wouldn't it be correct to use G8 washers & lock washers along with some locktite?....

I'm also betting that the factory bolts will give me a hard time. Instead of cutting them out has anyone tried to " rock" the seized bolts out? If this method doesn't work and I have to resort to cutting them out, how many sawzall blades might I need in a worst case scenario?....

I've searched but haven't found a definitive answer regarding supporting the unibody frame. Some put the frame on jack stands and support the axle with a floor jack while others did neither. Any advice about this?....

When I did my drivers side hardware recently I used 6" cut off wheels on an angle grinder and buzzed the heads off and knocked them out. I didn't jack anything up or support anything other then hitting the e brake on. LCA fell out and went right in no issues.

After a long struggle, I managed to get them swapped out without any cutting or grinding. The new LCA's improved the ride dramatically.

Where did you get the 9/16 G8 bolts & nuts? They are hex flange I believe.

For reference OE fasteners are M14x2.0 110mm ISO class 10.9, 12.9 is better. Flange head yes but washers will do if you buy hardened. I bought mine at Fastenal.

Here is what I used. Added washers as stated above.

The OE is M14, but I bought a set of Prothane bushings that came with 9/16 inner tube. I know Team Cherokee had a set of bolts and nuts but was hard to figure if it was M14 or 9/16. Good to know they are 9/16.
