Default low washer light when i hit bumps

i know this may sound stupid but every time i hit a bump my low washer light flickers, my connecter is tight and my washer fluid jug is more than half full, any ideas what could be causing this before i just pull the light bulb out of the idiot lights cluster,

That is normal when water level gets about half, my 96 does the same thing. Either keep it full or unplug wire harness from washer bottle (rather than remove bulb).

wouldn't unpluging the wire just trip the sensor and keep it on?

No, it does not. Just unplug it and keep an eye on your fluid like I do. They put the sensor way too high in the reservoir and it will constantly flash.

When I got my '95, I found the sensor was unplugged. I plugged it in and unless the reservoir was brimmed, the light would be on. I had burned out bulbs in the cluster so I just swapped a burned out bulb for the washer bulb.

gotta question since we are on the topic of light clusters and bulbs, what is the GEN light right about the check engine light? my owners manual doesn't show that light,

GEN = generator, which is really an alternator.
