My low washer fluid indicator won't turn off. I've replaced the float, cleaned the connections, checked for continuity, and STILL can't get the stupid thing to turn off. When I mess around with it, it turns off for about fifteen minutes. As soon as I hit a bump...
I'm wondering if anyone ever tracked down where this wire rubs through or breaks. I can't find it.

mine did the same thing. but really, that light is annoying. i just unplugged the wires on top. no more stupid light, and you can still wash your windows.

I am laughing at this post as I write this....because it also happened to me. I also disconnected the terminal to get rid of the stupid light after trying to clean and trace the wires. I finally decided to splice in a newer model sensor from the JY from a 94+ . Now my light does what it was meant to do. Hope this helps.
