Low oil pressure
Oil pressure at operating temp was 10.
At 2k RPM was about 32
Oil pressure won't go over 34 even in passing gear.
Any help please?.. The sending unit for the gauge is about a month old.

x2. Oil pressure readings have been known to drive people crazy....don't let this happen to you! That is the reason why most automakers(Jeep since 2002) no longer use a real oil pressure gauge. Yes, dummy gauges! There are too many variables that affect oil pressure.

Harbor Freight has a mechanical gauge with a 6 foot hose for $25. It takes less than 5 minutes to install it, and the hose is long enough that you can drape it over to the driver's side so you can see it and your dash gauge at the same time. Confirm that your dash is reading properly first, then move on to other issues.
Regarding this relatively new pressure sender, did you get a Mopar sender or one of the cheaper ones from O'Reilladvanceautozone? This is one place where you get headaches if you skimp because the aftermarket senders have notoriously bad quality control.

Same here dude. I got a check gauge light a few days ago. Replaced the pressure switch the second time this year. Also did a Rotella oil change with a motor flush. Also put it a rislone bottle with the new oil. . We'll see how things go the next few days. I drive a lot to and from work so hopefully it's just gunk buildup. I got 10 on the dash gauge on idle. About 30-45 while driving.

Don my 04 GC "Overland" has full gauges in it including oil so they went to at least the 04's don't know about any further.
If you want to see an increase in oil pressure run some straight 50w oil that will increase the pressure for you
I still have a 364 ci. SBC that I run 20-50 Mobile 1 Racing Oil in works great!
