Thumbs up Loose axle...?

On my 88 when I put the jeep into gear the whole axle shifts back. The u-bolts are tight and the shocks are tight. Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this? Also it has the shims under the leafs springs to push the axle up for the drive shaft alinement.

Check your springs when they get that old they get weak and do things you don't want them to do I replaced mine from a 94 and noticed a big difference in handling and height.
