MEASURE the hole in the bushing and the length needed to get though the bar, bracket and a bolt. Get that size bot in a Grade 8 or 10. You could take the bar to Lowes or parts store and find the size bolt that fits through the bushing the snuggest.
As for the popping, it very likely was the tracklbar telling you the bolt was loose and about to break.

i am leaning toward that popping noise being from the track bar, but i think i might have gotten lucky i got some track bar bolts from some jeeps that we had in the shop that got new lifts put on. i will try them tonight, they look pretty close to the same size but i will find out later this evening

Use the bolt that fits the snugest. Any movement in the TB mounts will eventually lead to Pops and clunks when turning or worse Death Wobble.

ok thanks but i ran into a problem when tryin some bolts i had. on the back side of the bracket there is a welded nut that looks to be boxed in between the bracket and axle. the axle is supposed to be out of a 93 but when i look up the parts it showes a nut that is seperate but this one is on my rig is factory welded to the bracket

on further inspection lastnight i found that the nut on the bracket is welded and the bracket looks 100% factory i am lost to what size it is bc i tried 10mm and its a lil small it has play in the hole and a 12mm is just a hair to big for the hole
