I recently broke my door handle button on the outside it was frozen and i hit it with my hand while it was fairly cold out and the plastic button fell inside.

Any ideas where to find parts or is this item more of a junk yard pick?

I think 84-96 XJ use the same part?

 

Might have to hit up eBay for this. I have tried several times to get replacement door handles and mechs from the junkyard but the bolts ALWAYS shear off the handles.

New ones used to run about 45 for the outside handle and such online..

 

Dorman has them. Only black though.

 

I've got some chrome ones, though admittedly they are a bit weathered...which is why I replaced them.
