Locker for a 8.25
 

Hey guys i have a 00 Sport with a 8.25 and i was wondering what locker you guys think would be the best for it? I looked at a few but don't know witch preform better? If ya got one let me know? Thanks :dunno:

i have a dertroit and love it

I have the Detroit True Trac on the rear axel and really like it. Very well mannered on road and off. Not quite as aggressive as a Detroit Locker but for my purposes it works great. I didn't want to hear it clicking in and out and so on like a Detroit Locker.

Which ones have you looked at? Most all of them are pricey for the 8.25 which you most likely have.

Mike and I have the same set up. I agree with em all the way. Well mannered. Not wicked expensive like some others. It smashes off road though.

Yea... and no clutches to wear out. What's not to like...

Here is the one i was talking about its from Powertrax. Seems like they would work good they don't have any disks to replace.

That's because its a locker and not an LSD.
