Default little worried

the jeeps been doing great lately and iv been enjoying myself in it like anyone shoud

so today well tonight i drove thru some mud more like muddy puddles in 4 low creeping thru them then went thru a small one in 2 wheel kinda at a normal speed not hauling or anything but then she started to bog and i didnt want to suck in any water so i shut it off and let it sit for a while opened the air box it wasnt wet just to make sure but it didnt wanna start and when it finally did it was sputtering and kinda back fire ing

kinda worried about possible hydro locking!
dont really know anything about any of this

any ideas on what might be going on?

sounds like you most likely got your distributor wet no big deal at all

I would pull off the hose coming from the airbox into the throttle body and see if there's any moisture in there, even though the filter didn't look wet. Also, look in the bottom of the airbox under the filter to see if it's moist. The distributor being wet is another possibility. I would take off the distributor cap and see if there's any moisture in there. I'm sure it's something small, so don't get worried too much.
