How common is linkage problems in cherokee's? Test drove one that wouldn't go into park and would only start in park half the time, other half it would start in neutral. When I put it in 4 low and 4 hi it wouldn't get out cuz neutral and park would not engage. What's the cause and how's it to fix

 

Sounds like a problem with the neutral safety switch. Search how to clean the NSS.

 

Offer $50 for it then search the site for the fix, sell it, make $$$$$$.

 

ya i check into how to fix it that is a super easy fix,..if the nss is going bad will that awesome cause problems going into and out of 4wheel drive?
