I bought my Jeep for $550 and I would like to keep everything on it good but cheap. I would like to have a 3-4 inch lift. What would the cheapest way to do this without it being unsafe and tacky?

im going to have to say RE. i was originally going to go the route of buying RC coils/leaf packs, tcase drop, etc. then get shocks i wanted and would ride great like RE monotubes or OME. when it comes down to it. youre saving a few bucks piecing a lift together, rather than buying a complete lift like a RE. you could go the route of buying a rustys 3" kit or a RC 3" kut but down the road you will replace their shocks, maybe their trackbar and you will wonder why you didnt do it the first time. ive been pricing RE 3.5" SF kit and its looking like $960 with jks discos, monotubes, etc. i think it will need a trackbar drop bracket(at least thats the route ill take since my trackbar is brand new), and maybe a tcase drop. good luck.

oh with the 3.5" you are looking at a new set of front LCA's big plus if you ask me. not that the factory arms cant do 3", just nice to replace them with a stout piece.

RE is rubicon express...

I would go Rubicon Express. They are supposed to be great lifts. Do not buy a Add A Leaf kit. Wait longer and save more money to get full springs, its way more worth it.

If you want a little bit cheaper of a lift. I would go Rough Country otherwise.

if you want cheap, dont get RE. they make a quality product and thats why you pay much more. from my experience, they stuff is expensive. if your on a budget just piece it together yourself. all together my 3.5" RE was like $800
