No, its a decklid. Or is it a boot? Access panel, perhaps? Canopy? Hatch? Back door sounds simple enough. Some call it a PITA.

Think Jeep has a liftgate, Jeep has a liftgate, Jeep has a liftgate and repeat that a couple hundred times.
A Jeep liftgate is a Jeep liftgate that is until i hear otherwise from one of those there Urban Dictionaries!

Well its like this nujeep,
its been proven time and time again here that Jeeps have liftgates.

The liftgate deny'ers among us and they know who they are...
they know they're wrong but instead of admitting it they're simply diverting attention away from the original topic.

Us rightous liftgate believer's are on to their now dirty tactics!

The liftgate deny'ers latest diversion tactic is turning a poor little innocent emoji into something pornographic.

For the sake of all humanity, is their no end to their liftgate denial.

Sorry to create another holy war! Should I use synthetic or dino oil in my Jeep?!

Anyway, I looked at the piece hanging out and it is trim foam, maybe one sided adhesive. May post pics later.

Naah, just a friendly humorous discussion.
We all need a laugh once in a while.

Far as the oil,
I would suggest using whale oil, wait its been outlawed!

Yeah post the pics they're always welcome!
