Buy some coil spacers from autozone for around $35 a set.
then build yourself a "bastard pack" out of some leafs from a chevy s10 at the junkyard. Go to your local suspension store and buy 4 U bolts, 2 leaf allignment pins, and 4 leaf clamps. The cashier shouldn't be charging you any more than $50 for the parts.

The entire lift itself shouldn't cost you more than $100. I'd say $75-$80 is about right.

this should probably be in tech section but watev. go to the tech thread page and look in the budget junkyard parts list. you can do it cheap with full spring lift instead of spacers.

True but then you'll raise the price. Also I don't reccomend throwing just any front suspension component on a vehicle. I'd get something designed for an XJ instead of swapping coils off from let's say an F150.

cherokees are unibody, no bolts holding frame/body together.

No you can not do a body lift as the body is part of the frame.
