my friend was talking the other day about super cheap ways to lift a car. he said there are many ways you can lift your xj without spending over $100. idk if he's crazy or if its true? let me know!!

Your welcome.
The shocks alone will cost about $100 for the lift.
The front shocks might reach in stock form, BUT they will be fully extended and worthless.
I just changed shocks on my 87, the previous owner tried to leave the stock shocks on it. What a dumbarse.
Comanche Truck shocks on rear is what I used and Wrangler Shocks on the front.
But prepared to move the cross bar pin to the new shocks as neither come with one.
