3 inches if you want zero uptravel 35's will fit.
4.5 is a good setup if you hack your fenders, i'd say it is what I would run with 35's
5-6 is ok if you dont want to trim a ton.

ya it could work. you could put 35s under a 4.5 with some trimming no spacers. my buddy fits 34's under his 3 inch, but thats ALOT of trimming.

okay thanks. i would like to lift it so i don't need to trim a bunch. i want to get bushwacker flat top fender flares those need trimming to be installed. so i would be trimming a little.....enough to just clear the tires. what gearing would work good for 35s??? i do alot of rock crawling and such. slower driving.

with that big a tire you will need stronger axles. dont put 4.88s in a D35, thats just a waste of money.

true, if you do front and rear D44 you can run 5.13's. can you run 4.88's in a ford 8.8?

35/13.50r20 with 4.5in RE lift and bushwackers... slight trimming back side of tires on metal and bushwackers... but you can hardly tell if you do it right...

35's, 4.88's with a locker and a logical foot on the gas pedal with a D30.....you'll be fine. Don't hammer the trails like you see the guys with Rockwells on YouTube and you'll go places you didn't think you could.

depends on if hes a automatic or stick... im running 3.55's on a stick... when i ran 31's on 3.55's and a stick my speedo was fast... so i figure 3.55's and 33's would be back to about even and 35's with a stick would be just over... which is where most vehicles daily ride around... but my rockcrawler is getting 5.13's with 37's but a Automatic

my rig. running 35s on a RC 4.5 inch lift. i did not trim, i hacked lol. took lots of fender out for full stuff and beat the inner fenders in with a hammer cause i didn't want to cut the seam. i am running stock axles, but i have the old style dana 35 that does not use the c-clip. making it as strong as the 8.25. also have the rear locked. just go easy on the skinny pedal, and you will be just fine.
